Unité d'habitation, Marseille. A seminal piece of modernist architecture designed by Le Corbusier, it joined the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2016. Constructed between 1947 and 1952 it proved hugely influential and is often credited as the initial inspiration for the Brutalist architectural style and philosophy.
