A FESTIVAL OF MAKING
Samhain marks a moment of transition the shift from autumn into winter.
Across two days, The Makkist brings together independent makers, hands-on workshops and creative experiences in a celebration of making, materials and the people behind them.
This is not the same programme repeated twice. Saturday and Sunday each have their own mix of makers, workshops and activities, giving you a reason to explore one day or come back for both.

Come for the market or make a day of it. Alongside a changing line-up of independent makers, there’ll be creative workshops and activities to discover across the weekend.
Food + drink — The Haberdashery’s café and licensed bar will be open throughout the event, with food, coffee and a specially created Samhain drinks menu available.
Dog friendly — Four-legged visitors are welcome too.
Creative workshops — Workshops take place throughout the weekend and are separately ticketed. Spaces are limited, so advance booking is recommended.
