Hotel Du Lac, Tunis. This gravity defying, architectural masterpiece is one of the best examples of brutalism to be found in North Africa. Designed by Italian architect Raffaele Contigiani, the form of the building is based on an inverted pyramid and has become a truly iconic structure.
